For the 10th straight year, Jameel McClain hosts his annual Thanksgiving dinner for more than 2,000 people. And on Monday, November 18, 2019 First Down Funding is proud to become a valued sponsor of the 53 Families Foundation Annual Thanksgiving Food Drive.

What is The 53 Familes Foundation? In addition to the food drive, McClain sponsors an annual Thanksgiving Dinner which he describes as having started out serving 53 families chicken nuggets and french fries in the Salvation Army basement. Through relationships and hard work, the dinner has grown to supporting 5,300 individuals and families in Baltimore.

2019’s 53 Families Foundation Annual Thanksgiving Food Drive will be hosted at the Joint Force Headquarters – 5th Regional Armory (219 29th Division Street in Baltimore).

In addition to gathering vast amounts of food and also serving up a much needed (and free) Thanksgiving meal to so many, the dinner event also features fun activities for kids, plenty of tables for attendees to enjoy dinner, and a DJ. For this 2019 occasion, the Baltimore Ravens official website offers a photo gallery to highlight special moments throughout the event.
